Hi SGG! I was under the impression, but I may be wrong, that all AD/HD people need help with focusing, whether inattentive(ADD) or hyperactive (ADHD)...in other words, even hyperactive AD/HDers are AD, too. I'm ADHHHHD, and sure need all the help I can get with focusing. After all attention deficit sure needs help with focusing. Don't mean to lecture...I know you know all this, SGG.
Oops. I didn't mean to imply that hyperactive people didn't need help focusing. Sorry.  I was just emphasizing that what may help a hyperactive person may not necessarily help me because I'm not really hyperactive. Sorry about that!

Anyway, I'm going to do a search on the True Focus. I've seen it on the shelf at Wally's. I assume you have, and if so, what did you find out?

Are you on any ADD meds right now at all? I ask cuz my doctor won't let me take anything like FOCUS while on meds, but okay to take Flax or Omega-3, vitamins, you know?

GypsyHas anyone tried a supplement called "True Focus"? I bought some from GNC and I was wondering if anyone here has tried it. Is it effective? It contains DMAE in it. I've heard that people with ADHD need DMAE. Does anyone know how DMAE affects the brain and if it's something that works for inattentive people or is it for hyperactive people? I'm not hyperactive. I have the inattentive type of ADHD. Which supplements or nutrients are best for people with the inattentive kind of ADHD? From what I have read, L-Tyrosine, Ginko Biloba, DMAE, magnesium, Omega oils and protein are really important? Is that true. I've been taking protein, Omega three oils, and a supplement called Brain Elevate from GNC that contains Ginko. I have noticed a little bit of improvement but not nearly as much as I would like. I've tried taking L-tyrosine supplements before but I would constantly forget to take the pills so I wasn't getting any results. I'm considering trying it again. So can someone give tell me which supplements/nutrients are best for a person with inattentive ADD? Thanks.
