My son has just been switched back to Concerta 36mg after very little benefit from Straterra. I was wondering if anyone has had problems with cold like symptoms (cough and runny nose)with Concerta. I would also like any feedback on Ritalin twice a day and if it possible to take it morning and lunch with the hope being no interference with getting to sleep.
We were considering switching to Straterra, but I am now interested in the feedback you receive on it. My son is currently on Concerta, but not sleeping or eating. There has to be something better out there. How are you dealing with the sleep issues??Unfortunately Straterra did not do as much for my son as Concerta although he had very side effects from Straterra. The Straterra made him quite tired at the end of the day so there was no problems with sleeping. I am at a bit of a loss because the cough from Concerta is quite bad and obviously affects his sleeping. My next step may be Ritalin so hopefully I get some ideas from this site.
