My daughter is 6 and just got started on seroquel. She was taking 27 mg of concerta and a afternoon supplement of 10mg of Ritalin. After talking to her physc. because she was not sleeping and was having some anxiety problems he decided to put her on 25 mg of seroquel at night. He has not mentioned bipolar and I have read about bipolar and she is not bipolar. So I was wondering if this was a normal thing.
Has anyone else had concerta and seroquel and not be bipolar?

i also take serequel to help me sleep. i'm on adderrall and wellbutrin. i take between 50 and 100mgs (i'm an adult). My doctor said this was a very lose dose and the thereputic doses for bipolar or other disorders was more in the 1600 mg range.
i'm sure (or i hope anyway) that your daughter's doctor would be happy to explain why serequel was given.
