acutally I do feel more sleepy as the days goes on...on concerta I was wired too much and could never sleep on this stuff the ritalin la..I like it but as the dose wears on I yawn alot and feel like I could lay down and sleep...how could two types of meds with ritalin effect you differently?...

so weird...

dang this is confusing at times...I like the fact that I'm very calm and focused but the sleepyness gets worse as the day runs. on.. Are you guys sick of me yet

is there a website that gives you information on what your supposed to feel on this stuff...

Gotta admit I'm now feeling languid and a little sleepy right now. It's 2.5 hours after taking the first dose and felt good for an hour. It's 6pm, I started work at 3pm so perhaps I'm just tired.

I'm really calm and was just in a situation where I"d usually be screaming (argument) and was just very calm and logical about it.

Weird.

Will call the doc tomorrow but am interested in feedback this evening.
I just took my first dose. This is odd, in a calm and good way. Will write more later.

I believe they are supposed to make you feel more calm if you have ADHD (the hyperactivity subtype). Personally, when I take stimulants, I feel stimulated, sped up, and like a fog has been lifted that's been clouding my mind and ability to concentrate.

ok I'm new to taking ritalin so I have a question...since I have nothing to base it on because I have never taken this drug before.. I am asking those who have taken ritalin or meds for add and seeing if this is correct..

I am taking ritalin LA 10 mg. and have taken it for several days.. All I can say is wow!!!Is Ritalin supposed to make you feel relaxed an calm...because that is the way I feel.I feel very calm and relaxed and when I do something like type on the computer..I don't feel at all distracted by any other noises..I just am so freaken focused and if I try to do more than one thing at once like I used to<which I didnt always do well I might add > well for example how can I explain this...??

ok lets see its like I have to focus on one thing at a time..its like I cant spilt my attention which isnt a bad thing...its just amazing ...

ITs like things are actually going into my brain instead of bouncing off my brain..
