Thanks for your post, it has put me at ease. I asked because I also have along with ADD/ADHD, Asperger's syndrome, OCD,Sensory Intergrative Dysfunction, some learning disabilities, Post-traumatic stress disorder and I know I'm not the only one. I'm trying to learn to be an adult and cope with all of these at the same time and it can be a living hell. (Especially on my family who mean no harm). But, thanks a lot for your comment. Greatly appreciated. ^._.^b
Is it possible to have ADD/ADHD and take Strattera and in the past take Ritilan and Adderall and Wellbutrin and not develop any tics over the years? Sorry, I don't mean to insult anyone with tourette's or any tics from medication by any means, it's just lately I've been thinking of tics, I haven't had any not even as a child. But, I'm wondering can they come to anyone even as an adult, who didn't have any as a child? o_O; [QUOTE=fukaiotaku] Is it possible to have ADD/ADHD and take Strattera and in the past take Ritilan and Adderall and Wellbutrin and not develop any tics over the years? From what I've read and researched, yes, it's possible some on stimulants may develop tics who've never had them before. I've read this happening to children, as well, although they don't have a tic disorder before starting meds, and most usually disappear when stopping the medication. I believe the tics would probably have shown up not too long after starting the meds.
