Concerta 18 MG and 36 MG | ADHD Information

Share

I was just "diagnosed" with ADD. The Psychiatrist told me that Concerta would be benefical for me since I am bored easily, and a constant clock watcher.  Sometimes not having anything to do and sit idle for long periods of time causes great anxiety to me. I am apparently, understimulated mentaly.  I bought the Concerta 18MG that my Dr. prescribed after paying the whopping .72 at Walgreens. I tokk the 18 mg and I felt NOTHING at all. So today I took two 18MG to equal the higher dose of 36MG pill. The dose of 36 MG didnt even touch me! I feel quieter perhaps but I certainly cant focus any better, at least not noticibly. I am so distracted when I try to read, I am sure I would be able to tell if there was a difference. Has anyone taken the Concerta in these doses and found them to not work? What did you go on next? Thanks

JMW

Strattera wont work for me because Strattera has no stimulants. I took Strattera prior and I felt more cheery, but not more focused. Strattera was good for a mood lifter but I needs stimulants. Any advice anyone

try straterra my niggerFirst of all take your scripts to cosco you do not need a membership to use the RX. Also I dont know how much you weigh but i do know that that makes a difference my 9 year old son weighs 79 lbs and is on 36mg try taking 54mg (3 pills). I have been having great luck with this med have done a lot of reserch and it seems to be one of the best if it works for you Good luck. Concerta should be about half the price a Cosco    Sara

Thanks for the tip Sara, I do not have a costco nearby, but I am going to my DR today to see what he thinks I should do. He isnt really a wizard with ADD but I figure he knows a basic knowledge about drugs and what should work, and whats safe. Thanks for your suggestion, it gives me hope. I just didnt want to go on and on with my mind running all over the place.
