Why Your Meds May or May Not Work | ADHD Information

Thought this was a very interesting article about the neurochemistry of the ADD/ADHD brain, and why some meds work with some kids while the same meds can have a negative effect on others.

Now, if only more doctors would do testing before changing meds every other week parents would probably be able to get their kids stable much quicker.......and would be medicating with the right meds without a guessing game.

My son had the same negative effect on Strattera as he had on Effexor (both SNRIs)....how much you want to bet we find out that he has an excess of norepinephine without these drugs?

Some of you may visit another forum that I frequent and will find this familiar because I've posted it there too.
