I started on Concerta 36mg and effexor 75mg 2 week3 ago and immediately experience blury vision. Dr. took me off of effexor and put me on lexapro 10 mg. I'm still experiencing blury vision. Could it be the concerta? I've not taken it yet today and still have the bluriness. Should I not take concerta for a few days?
I'm so confused..... maybe it's just my eyes.. in my early 40's.. but it all started when i started on medication. I've never been on anything be for this. so I've nothing to compare it to.

THE VISION TOPIC CAUGHT MY EYE TODAY BECAUSE I HAVE JUST NOTICED OVER THE WEEKEND THAT MY 4 YR OLD WHO IS ON ADDERALL 10MG'S IN THE AM AND 5MG'S IN THE PM HAS STARTED TO 'BLINK' HIS EYES VERY RAPIDLY, LIKE SOMETHING IS IN THEM. HE HAS ALSO BEEN STRAINING TO LOOK AT THINGS LIKE WORDS OR PICTURES IN HIS BOOKS.
ADDERALL IS THE ONLY TYPE OF ADHD MEDICATION HE HAS EVER BEEN ON SINCE HE WAS DIAGNOSED. I DON'T KNOW VERY MUCH ABOUT ANY OTHER KINDS OR THEIR EFFECTS.
I ALSO READ FROM THE MESSAGE BOARD ABOUT 'ANGER RAGES' AND 'TANTRUMS' FROM CHILDREN ON ADDERALL, THIS I HAVE ALSO FOUND TO BE QUITE A PROBLEM WITH MY LITTLE DAVID, WE OFTEN CALL HIM "DENNIS" & SOMETIMES EVEN "DAMIEN". THE CHILD GROWLS! I'M BESIDE MYSELF!!
COULD THESE BE 'UNHEALTHY' SIDE EFFECTS OF THE ADDERALL? SHOULD I NOTIFY HIS DR ABOUT IT, DOES IT SOUND LIKE HE MAY NEED TO SWITCH RX'S? HELP!?!...

Are you sure that your son hasn't developed tics....the eye blinking? My son gets tics from ADHD meds.
My son developed blurry vision while on Seroquel....we took him off it immediately.children's vision. com ,read this it's important for you to know. This can be do to Visual processing issues which should be checked by a therapeutic eye Dr. This is one of the signs of this.
