What type of organizers have people tried? What has been your experience with them?
I used to use a Franklin planner before I was diagnosed and I just used it as an expensive notepad.
I can't handle PDA, but I recently went back to the Franklin Planner, and now that I'm taking medicine and working on the ADD, I'm doing a lot better with it.
Anyone else?

Sounds like a joke - how many ADD people does it take to create an ADD friendly planner (one for single ADDs, or family ADDs)?

LOL, My previous planner was a 5'2" Redhead, and that worked great for awhile and came in a great package too, but she had understandably become a lot less user friendly as time went on and insisted I find a new system.
Mine all seem to "hide" from me shortly after I buy them, so I gave up the fight. Hope you find one that works well for you!
I got a yearly planner by http://www.domesticplanner.com/ it's the Domestic Planner Planner. This helps me to plan my life (after work, on weekends, general stuff).
It's not as efficient at work, nor for all my ideas, etc. I'm looking for something I can use for my whole life.

Hi eafii,
put
out by a company of the same name. Their web address is:
www.plannerpads. com. Check it out. My therapist recommended this to
me. She uses it, as wellHave you looked into the ADD Planner at all?

The ADD Planner looks really great. Am I a bad person because I want it for FREE?!?The ADD planner looks good, but won't work with my Palm Pilot (older version). I just upgraded--and had to pay for--the software that allows my Palm to work with Outlook. It sounds like it takes a little concerted effort to set it up...and that seems to be an issue. And in my case, even when I take the time and effort to set up things in OL, I either reset the deadline when the reminder pops up, or dimiss it w/o having done it....so it never comes back.
Is the ADD Planner different enough to warrant purchasing it? I would still have to keep 2 calendars...on work and one home...can't make everyone in my dept swith to the ADD planner, now can I?
Anyway...maybe I should just contact the planner people...???
