I lost my mind
Yes, my mind has gone too. I give up, my daughter 7, decides to go through all her drawers and likes to take the nice neatly folded clothes out to see what she can wear. Then she puts them back unfolded, jammed, into the dresser. I cringe, we went through this for a long time, so i gave up and let her do it because i will go into OCD mode and refold all the time----and i don't have time. So i save my sanity.
LOL redhead why are ADHD"ers so disorganized? I myself am not the most organized person but I really am getting so tired of cleaing up after all the ADHD'ers in my house (husband included)

When I decided to do my "spring cleaning" starting the 2 weeks Chris is off from school.  He goes back July 5 but with me running around and going to school at night I havent had a chance to pull otu summer clothes and pack winter (and too add in NYC we finally got heat last week LOL) so I decide to start yesterday.  WELL I think I must have been drinking when i decided to do this...everytime I make a pile he jumps in it...everytime I throw out something he takes it out and decides it's a great new toy...everytime I pack something neatly away he decides to go in there and check it out.

ACK!!!!!

Amy, my mind was gone some time ago.  LOL!  The only thing I can even begin to suggest is bribe him with something.  I have a token system going with both of my kids.  It's not the magic cure-all, but it has been a BIG help.  They were arguing yesterday just before we all went out to eat.  I told them both, if you are good at the restaurant, you get four tokens each when we get home.  If you misbehave, you lose five tokens each.  It worked.  So maybe you could do something like offer a small reward if he doesn't jump on the piles of clothes, etc. while you are working??????  It may be worth a try.  Many moms would say I shouldn't bribe my children.  To that I say, whatever works.  LOL!!!!!  They aren't spoiled, so I'm not overly concerned that bribing them with tokens (or whatever else) isn't the right choice.  It works for us (much of the time).
