Hyperkinetic? Hyperactive? | ADHD Information

Hyperkinetic is the European equivalent to hyperactive.I got a copy of my psychiatric report today lol. It says that my present psychiatric diagnosis is ""Attentional Deficit Hyperkinetic Disorder.

um..what's the difference between "Hyperkinetic" and "Hyperactive?" do they mean the same thing? slightly different?

I just found something that said that "hyperkinetic" means "excessive movement"

I'm still looking for more info.  They're calling it HKD instead of HD.
