Hello, from a forum newbie :) | ADHD Information

Hi,

I am Chris, I'm 33 y/o male, I have had ADHD all my life, well all I can remember of it anyway, but was diagnosed just 1 year ago.  I just recently switched to Strattera, and decresed my Ritalin ER, which I have been on since August last year.   I was also on Concerta last year, for a few months.  Well I hope this forum works out for me, I am looking to learn, share, and hear from others with this condition.

I hope to post often, let's see if it keeps my attention LOL, or if this like so many new things in my life... Fall's to the wayside for something new tomorrow.

I'm 32, diagnosed last year with adult ADD.  As a contemporary, I have to ask if your user name is a nod to the Violent Femmes song?

Wow,  I'm pleasantly surprised that my seemingly feeble attempt to create a unique, personal, yet meaningful user name has not gone unnoticed.   Hat's off  to you :)  I grew up loving that song, and well... it just kinda stuck with me.

Hi there Chris I would just like to say that I am 17yr old girl from UK who has ADHD, Life has been a nightmare. The memory is the worst I say things 1mintue then forget the next second later,I repeat myself about 10times a day which irrates people Ive never really been given chances in life & when i do i seem to mess them up. Ive taken Ritalin before but it didnt help my sleep patern & I read that it can cause heart failure & so on so that worried me
