I was actually told by the doc that it is supposed to help with anxiety issues. My son was on it for a very short time, and it did help a wee bit for a very brief period.
I have read of others that ended up with an increase of anxiety though.
Strattera can increase anxiety, I've had several patients unable to tolerate the arousal which goes with it.I know everyone tolerates drugs differently but I had an awful experience with Strattera. In addition to side effects that I would rather not go in to, it drove extreme agitation and impatience that everyone around me could relate to when I started and stopped the drug. It was actually a little scary, because I felt like I couldn't control my over-reactions to things even while I was aware that I was over-reacting.
After about a year of being off Strattera and starting on Adderall, my physician has started me on welbutrin and I am seeing the same issues as I had with Strattera. Does anyone else experienced this?
What you you mean chris by over reactions? LIke in certain situations? I might be able to relate...but I am not sure what you mean be over reactionsbetter taken before bed time, this is time released and then less effects cause happening while sleeping. Could it be you have these issues really and they are just more apparent then.
