Just herad this today:

Q. How many people with AD/HD does it take to change a lightbulb?

A. ......Wanna go get some icecream?

I liked that one. The sad thing was it took me a few seconds to get it...

LoL

There's a funny page on the net that you might like. It starts with a nice line:

One of the benefits of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder is the ability to laugh at ourselves - even while crying.

This joke definitely made my day! Funny, "others" don't seem to find it particularly hilarious! THANK_YOU!!!!!

Lizzy, I have been feeling down   for days and you just made it better!

Thank you!!!

Glad I'm not the only one who tries to leave the store
without my change or merchandise. Maybe I should
get ADHD tatooed to my forehead. On second
thought , I guess any knowledgeable person would
already have figured that out.

That was a great joke!

No, thanks I had pizza yesterday.

That's funny.  That reminds me of, wait...

Oh yeah, like I was going to say a minute ago, before I got off on a tangent...

Um...

What were we just talking about?

I'm glad I could brighten everyone's day!!!   Pretty_lost, I checked out that page... LOVED IT! I really liked the one about how long it takes an ADDer to change a lightbulb because they leave the bulb on the counter of the store! I've done this many times!!!

TactileJ, been there done that too!!! when you start a story and stop mid sentence, forget what was going on, and then ask the person (who's looking at you expectantly) "what did you say?" I think that's hilarious!

I can relate to that!!  The most embarrsing is when the gal at the drive through has to holler for you to back up and get your food after she hands you the change.   I'm glad I finally found people that can laugh with me about some of this, and understand it.  My wife is finally laughing with me (and not steaming at me) and she's empathetic, but she admitts that she doesn't fully understand.
