Well to be honest, too late to ask now. Be proactive in your treatment, and research it with books like Dr. Amen's Healing AD/HD.
What should happen tomorrow is that you will take a series of tests to evaluate your level, and have a interview with the doctor. Based on your tests and interview, the doctor will make his dianosis, levle of AD/HD. My doctor started me on three weeks of trial prescriptions of three different medications, and I have to track my good and bad effects each day. Based on this he will decide on my medication treatment. Couseling and behavior modification will most likely to be mentioned. (If this is not considered neccesary, or if your doctor beleives there is one type of AD/HD and one treatment, find another doctor) If you are lucky and get one of the very few that is dedicated to behavior problems, he will eventually work diet modification and excercise into the program, as well as supplements to get you off meds.
God luck, keep us posted.
