Family Support | ADHD Information

My mother and i have adhd and i beleive my son but he's only 5.....the problem is i have recently realized they know more now then when i was dianosed at 17 i am 30 now then i was told i would grow out of it ....i didn't but i need more than jus meds and am finding utwhy i do the things i do (we) thought it was jus me feeling sorry...there is more to it glad to know ok sorry roblem is ive been telling mom as she beats herself up for things its ADHD!! sounds to me like an excuse how do i get mom and dad to find out what i found out or look into it so we can work together instead of all my life its just crystal and her ADHD???
Do any of you see a psychiatrist? Maybe one who specializes in ADD/ADHD, those are probably the best ones to go with (especially with children).
