you'll find me very hard to scare off! lol
Every person with ADHD tends to see things as "I'm sure to wreck it if it's a good thing". It's just SO common a thought!
I used to think such thoughts every time I'd walk into a room.
Turns out that most people didn't know I existed unless I stuck my neck out and talked. And many times people wanted to hear what I had to say!
mommy (can I call you mlj? I have "mommy" issues lol), don't fret a bit. So far you have broken the ice and we're all here! these forums are so cool because we can come here and not feel like the non ADHD'ers are looking at us sideways like there's some magic elf in our butts making us do things rather than a valid illness!
I like ya!
Well, stick around. I bet it gets fun from here :)
Just keep in mind what the AD/HD does to us. Sometimes I'm extremely chatty - people probably wish I'd stop replying to nearly EVERY post. Other times, I am almost afraid to start replying because I'm afraid of what will be posted. You AD/HDers are probably the only people around me that will understand THAT statement.
Plus keep in mind that whether we're busy or not - people with AD/HD flit from one topic to another like Hummingbirds.
Probably just a coincidence that you seem to be running people off. Us, AD/HDers, understand what it's like.

hey it's okay. One thing people with ADD/ADHD love to do is chat nonstop, so no you're not scaring anyone at all, you're just being ADD!
Don't mistake silence for annoyance ;) I notice a lot of people read
messages without ever replying, so it's not just you. It's just the ADD
people procrastinating writing back to you
i hope its just me but i hope im not scaring ppl away by chatting on here i don't want to be a pain or make it where everybody leaves when i get on ????Aww, you're doing no such thing! :P
I'm very frightened!
