I take Zoloft along with Wellbutrin for depression. While the combination has helped me drastically with my depression, it didn't do squat for me for the ADD.
I have read that some SSRI's (like Zoloft) have been used for ADD.
Hi all, I'm new here
Been on Zoloft for 2 months, mainly for feeling overwhelmed and lack of focus.
Been wondering for years if I am slightly ADHD. I have NEVER been able to complete tasks or focus 100% on anything in my life. With Zoloft, my life has changed drastically. I do everything 100%, make to-do lists daily, and am pursuing goals I've put aside for years.
Just wondering if anyone else is like me -- thinking they are ADHD, haven't been diagnosed as such, but lives have changed (more focus) on Zoloft.
I am a SAHM with twin toddlers, fyi.

A depression disorder can also look like ADHD. Zoloft is a medication for depression and its is only given to those who have ADHD when the person suffers from depression as a result of havig ADHD. Depression can cause a lack of focus, concentration and a lack of motivtion. Some symptoms of ADHD can look very much like other disorders but if you really have a concern about it, consult with a clinician trained in the field of diagnosing these disorders as they have the experise to make the distinction. Good luck with the zoloft and I'm glad its working for you
