Dry mouth | ADHD Information

Dry mouth is a common side effect with quite a few medications including stims, anti depressants, and allergy meds.yes.
It's the only one I still get when I go back on meds
after taking a break of more than 5 days. That and I
can usually take about 1/2 the dose for a few days
(probably the second thing has more to do with
having gotten used to the "lower efficiency" of
non-medicated ADHD)Have any of you on stimulants had problems with dry mouth? 

 

I haven't had this problem on generic adderall.  However, when I take my allergy medicine, I have this problem with dry mouth. 

JerBer...dry mouth is common quite often with most stims. That's why it's important to drink plenty of water...which we should anyway, right? I had cotton mouth when I started Concerta...and drinking water (not pop) definitely helped.
