I thought that if strattera effects one type of neurotransmitter, adderall effects another...what about taking wellbutrin also as it targets a different neurotransmitter too?
A little more info. Lexapro seemed to work well for depression. No longer as difficult with the family and have suicidal thoughts less frequently.
Wellbutrin and Strattera were supposed to help with motivation and focus, but they didn't seem to help. I got off the Wellbutrin finally after complaining about the side effects, which by the way, are the type they like to say on the ads have little chance of occuring. On Tuesday, when he officially removed the Wellbutrin he upped the Strattera from 40 to 60. I have to hope the more reasonable dose will do the trick.
