Hi, I'm new to the forums. I'm 26, and my name is Dan.
I wasn't diagonesed as having ADHD until this past November, and up to that point, I had thought it was depression or bi-polar was effecting me.
At first I was on Strattera, 40 mg. Then Strattera plus a small dose of lexapro. Then I switched to Wellbutrin, which did nothing for me. Then I was just recently on 30 mg of Adderal XR.
The major problem I have with these medications, is that it effects my libido extremely and sexual side effects. When I'm off, I'm fine, but when I'm on, I get these effects, I hate it! It's an issue my girlfriend has been supportive of, but still I'd like to have someway to get some focus in my work life, without sacrificing my sex life.
Any ideas?

I hear you!
When I started dexedrine sulphate (same diff just different delivery system mostly) I had the same thing happen. No starch and even if there was I'd not have cared.
It took about 2 months to go away. Now I don't feel any of that. Libido is back, starch in the ol' sails and good to go!
Don't worry - it just takes a while to settle in. I'm sure the way it affects the blood pressure and brain chemistry just takes some time to become leveled out.
If not - the doc recommended me viagra if I needed it. Thankfully I didn't - have you seen the cost of that stuff?!? LOL
