Wellbutrin + Adderall? | ADHD Information

Personally I'd try Adderall XR, Ritalin LA and Focaline XR. If you have
insurance - try and see which one helps the most. I suggest that you keep
track (on paper) of times and dosages. I'm finding out that every person
handles meds differently. No one person can say one medicine works all
the time for everyone. Keep track of what you take. Mike

Thanks for your feedback.  I'm seeing my psych. this week and we'll discuss the whole thing, I guess.  I am kind of scared of the whole med's adventure ahead of me.  I'm hoping I'll get on one, it will work fine, and that's it.  I responded well to Dexedrine before, but I heard that it isn't prescribed all that much these days.  After all that I've read, it seems that Adderall is the most prescribed (am I wrong)??  I don't care what it is that I take, I just care that I am happy.  I don't expect it to take care of everything, so I'm going to get an ADHD coach to help me (God knows that I need it.)

Hi,

So, I was diagnosed 15 years ago with ADD and was on Dexedrine, until I decided I didn't want to be on any drugs (bad mistake)...to make a long story short, now I'm on Wellbutrin (for depression for 4 years), but I recently saw a neuropsychologist who suggested that I go on a medication that was more appropriate for my level of need.  I didn't ask him if I should still stay on the Wellbutrin - does anyone know if these interact negatively?  The Wellbutrin has helped me a lot (but obviously not enough...)

Thanks for your input!

I'm 43 years old. I just started (FEB 2005) taking Wellbutrin XR 300 mg
daily - along with 30 mg Ritalin LA in the am and 30 mg LA around noon.
For the first time in my life I started have anxiety/panic. I stopped taking
the Wellbutrin. After a few days, no more panic or anxiety.
