terri,
After reading your post I went to the web site you provided. The product eye q sounds like a great place for me to start trying some natural supplements. I have ordered eye q and will let you know how it goes. I will continue the meds along with the eye q and see if we get any better behavior. Although my sons concentration does seem improved on the combination of Strattera, Adderall XR and Lexapro I just don't feel good about giving him all those meds. He still has emotional problems (anger, defiance). I'll keep you updated.

I want to know if anyone has been following the Durham County Trials, the study in which they have been giving school children in Durham, UK a special blend of essential fatty acids to improve school performance (www.durhamtrial.org). The media coverage of it has been quite extensive due to the impressive preliminary results particularily for ADHD and LD kids. The "medication" they used is called EyeQ, different from the usual fish oil mixtures in that the EPA is three times higher than the DHA. Medical researchers now believe is the necessary element for improvement in these areas. However, oils with this EPA/DHA ratio are, as far as I can tell, unavailable in Canada (and the States too, it seems). I would be more than willing to go through the trouble and expense of ordering such oils online if I could hear from someone (perhaps from the UK) who has tried this out or something similar. Thanks so much.
