provigil | ADHD Information

i was wondering if anyone has tried provigil 200 mg and had any success.  my insurance has denied the preauthorization request and am wondering if it was worth going through the hassle of fighting it or buying in canada.  i was on a website that sold it cheap and without a prescription but the drug was a generic and from india.  they had a phone number and I talked to someone.  they also had an address in canada but i'm still leary of what medicine I would actually receive, if any at all.  i was also told that doctors offices didn't receive samples of controlled substances.  is this true?  any information would help.

Hey there

I have been taking provigil for a month. I get it through my family doctor so my insurance covers it. It is the best medicine I have taken yet for adhd. It works so well that I am even starting college again. There are generic forms in Europe but none available in America yet. Yes it is true that controlled meds cannot be in sample forms, and you have to get a new rx monthly from your dr. I would try your family dr. tell him you have fatigue and would try provigil. To learn more about the medicine and it's approved uses go to provigil.com. The fda is looking into approving it for add but not yet. I got hooked on ritalin so I had to get off the traditional stimulants. But Provigil is different. You don't feel the need to abuse it. It's hard to explain. It also lasts for about 6 hrs. Thats pretty cool.

Good Luck
