I don't have kids, but I take Wellbutrin myself.
I was prescribed the WB for depression. It has helped with the depression but has not done squat for my ADD. Of course, everybody has different results with different meds.
Here's hoping that this one works for your son.

We are changing meds again - the Ritalin LA is not working for us (too much rebounding). The psychaitrist is now going to try Wellbutrin (Burpopion) for his ADHD symptoms. Does anyone have kids on Wellbutrin or have been on it? What can I expect and what should I look for? I sure hope this drug works. We are starting at 50 mg once a day for a couple of days & if he tolerates it we will bump it up to 1 - 50 mg in am and 1 -50 mg in late afternoon. My son is 8 and weighs 80 lbs.
Any advice or help is greatly appreciated. I really like this forum - it has been helpful so far. I also posted this on the Parents of ADHD children message board.
