I'm really really going to try and NOT be wordy- for once LOL
Ok here it is
Thank you everyone for being who you are.
I have had more peace, encouragement and growth in the short time I've been here than in the whole rest of my life without you people!
You deserve to know that you people here have made a noticable, palpable difference in my recovery from the trauma of a lifetime hobbled in pain by ADHD. My mind is clearer every day I spend some time here. I feel like I'm making a difference - albeit a small one in other's lives and it gives me hope and a whole lot of joy.
Everyone should hear how GOOD they are! We are all too quick (me included) to give negative feedback when wrongs are made. I try every day to make a positive feedback report to as many people as I can. I love to see the smiles and happy feelings transmitted from those people right back to me. All this without a bible too! (sorry sorry I'm a baaaaaaad boy! LOL . hard to stop that - atheist's achilles heel easy target sorry sorry)
ok I seem to have done it again - wordy. Well that's it anyways... thanks to all of you - you are good people who have helped me regain the faith in the human compassion and spirit that flows in all of us - and I will return the favor whenever you or anyone asks it of me.
Congrats!!!
Glen, I for one really love to read your posts. They are so encouraging and uplifting. I think you have given us even more than we have given you. That is what I love about these boards. Even when no one has the answer ( and someone usually at least has a suggestion to try), someone reaches out to show they understand and really care.
Here, we are the normal ones! Not that I care anymore about whether someone else sees me as normal.
I have come to the conclusion that the greatest ADHD mind which ever existed is the mind which concieved and created the universe, this world, and all the diverse, glorious living things in it. The "normal" mind could not have ever even dreamed of something this elaborate and complex. The normal mind is the work horse. We get to have all the fun!
Well thank you barb for those wonderful words.
Although I'm an atheist so I usually don't ponder the "maker of the world" - an ADD maker would indeed explain the platypus. I never could stay on target either - duck or beaver?? duck or beaver - heck I can't decide!!!
LOL
Again thanks! It's more pleasure for me to give the help by a large number than I imagine is received.
