I did write about the problems i had regarding my nine year old son, he went into mania after being put on a anti-depressant with Strattera. He has been off all meds for about 2 weeks, he is not the same child anymore. He may be bi-polar, that is what I am being told. I have been researching for natural remedies, so I took him for a hair analysis to see what he maybe lacking. I keep reading about omega 3 vitamins so I am curious to see what the results are with the hair analysis. My results will be in on 06/07/2004. I will write back to let you know. I just want to try something else before I make a decision to try meds again. I have also read the Doctors should make sure there is not a mood disorder before diag. ADHD because it can cause worse problems with stimulants and ADHD meds.

On one of these posts I was reading something about having an analysis done to investigate the possibility of vitamin/mineral deficiencies. Can someone tell me something about this.

I believe it was a hair analysis not blood. I don't know anything about this though. Sorry.
