how much adderall {not xr} do you take? | ADHD Information

right now I'm taking 15mg/@8am & 15mg/@noon but its regular adderall not the XR but I still dont feel like it is enough. how do you and your dr know when you have reached the right amount?

 

I take 20mg total per day

just wondering abouy my dose-which is 60 total a day

Well, I'm supposed to take 75mg Adderall XR and 10mg Adderall each day. Should be similar equivalencies to 85mg each day.I take 20mgs 3-5x a day. Usually less on the weekends and more during the week when I have to work my 2nd job. 20mgs lasts 3-4 hours for me.

I take 40mg around 8am & 20-40 more around 12pm - depending on how well my focus was in am, and work load ahead.

Dosn't seem to be working as well as it did the 1st two months (been on adderall since april)

I take 60 mg/day of the XR, and I was wondering whether that was enough. It is interesting to see that Deang008 take 85 mg/day.  I have read somethings which say doctors don't like to give more than 60mg/day. Does anyone else take more than 60 mg/day of the XR?
