Yes, it helped me for quite awhile with depression. Also took Vit. B liquid supplement and DMAE. They all helped pretty well.

I ended up going through a stressful time and needed more though, so had to go back to meds. The supplements never quite do the job that the meds do, but they were quite impressive, I thought.
I also recommend ecchinacia or however it is spelled for colds!

(Heard the latest study, yes.I'm kidding in a mean-spirited sarcastic manner))
I take it.  "Nordic Naturals, DHA".  It has DHA and EPA in it.  It's sopposed to be good for memory and mood.  I've taken it for a few months.  Not really sure yet if it's heiping.  I take Magnesium also, resent research shows that a high persentage of people that have ADHD are deficient in it.  Check out the Alternative Treatment Board, there's a lot more info there. bepatient38562.8636111111

Hi,

I found this article recently:

Taking cod liver oil is an icelandic tradition; it doesn't do any miracles for my son and me (I have a adhd-diagnosis, he problably has add), but I think it has some effect. We usually take it in the wintertime and this spring, when we stopped taking it, I had a feeling that my son was doing worse and we are now taking our tablespoon all year round - whenever I remember to . It's great for your eyes, your joints and  your heart, so why not ... ?

I have been taking a liquid form of EFA for a year or more for skin/hormones etc. I can't say it helps with ADHD, only Strattera has helped that thus far. Has anyone had any success with it in anyway? I know it's been under study for treating BiPolar for a number of years, with amazing results. The more I read about the stuff, the better it sounds. Brain food. Hmmmm...couldf use some of that
