I still ride bikes, and skate, and climb things.
I got mine from the library. Now I just have to remember to return it.....I'm sure it will end up being cheaper to have just bought the book once I pay all the overdue fees from the library. :-(It's just came out this year so you can only find it in hardback.
I searched all over the bookstore the other night looking for a cheaper paperback that I could enjoy on ADD but I didn't see anything that I wanted more than this one. So I picked it up and I am glad that I did. :)
I had fun reading the self-assessment quiz out loud to my husband - that's in chapter 4. Some of the questions I thought to myself "That's ADD? Weird." For example "Do you love bicycles (even though you don't ride them anymore)?"
I love my bike, however it is sitting in a friends garage since last summer...Can I find this book at Borders???? lambiekinI read this last night from Dr. Ned Hallowell’s new book, Delivered From Distraction. This is from Chapter 2, The Feel of ADD. For me, this just SO perfectly sums up ADD. It’s a bit long but I believe that it’s all worth it:
