has this happen to you??? | ADHD Information

I have more of a question? I am on adderal 20mg 2x a day and I have noticed that when I take it I can't sleep at all at night and it makes me feel funny? But I have tried taking 1 pill a day and that seemed to work but I still ended up with a sleepless night. Did that happen to you at all. I am starting to wonder if the dose is all wrong or the meds all together?

Thank you.Has anyone ever uped their meds(adderall) for a couple of days because they thought they were not taking enough----and feel great for a couple of days and then really start feeling druged---so you step back down and get an incredablly perfect result from the first dose you were unsure about???? I started taking 10mil 2-3 x's perday depending on what time I woke up---uped to 15 mil 2x's and 10 in the late after noon when needed----at first the higher dose was good--then after a couple of days the little buzz that you seem to get in the begining did not level off to the alert calm that you should get--instead it seemed to level off at this really druged yucky place---so today I went back to 10 mil 2x's (three if I need it later) And I feel so great---alive and happy----oh by the way that druged place was not a happy one----any one else ever have that happen to them???I seem to sleep fine---as long as I have not taken a pill with in 4 hours of bedsometimes you may need to take a drug break, once a week or once a month for a day or weekend or two,,, it will be ok as adderall is not residual. I have heard this and may be what you need. ask your dr... lovepb,, I would say you probably may need to make a rule  to try to sleep, or maybe your not doing enough to tire you out... I had strange sleep patterns as a kid and now realize why.,... ask your dr to help you understand this sleep problem... and maybe change your meds around a little bit.
