How much is much Ritalin?? | ADHD Information

I am being put on Ritalin next week
How come a doc can up my dosage from 10 mg once to 30 mgs three times a day??
We only spoke for like 3 hrs or so...
And if I didn't phone him I would have still been under the impression that I would get 10 mg

Well I been to my GP and, figures, doc didn't tell me the right info...
I am getting 3 x 10 mg a day from tomorrow on...

 

brrrt38016.1925462963Are  you sure you didn't misunderstand your doc, maybe he/she wants to put you on 30 mg a day, by taking the 10 mg, 3 times daily?I just came upon an interesting research article
which suggests that food supplement treatment of
ADD/ADHD may work just as well as Ritalin
treatment. This study was done with children, but I'm
sure it would be the same with adults. Here's the

My psychiatrist told me to experiment with mine! I foolishly thought "Well, I'm a fully grown man, six foot two and around 100 kilos, and there are ten year olds on the full dose! I'll start by taking two Ritalin, three times a day!" Well, it only took a day to realise that 60mg was way too much - I either walked around feeling like a god, or angry as a bear. 30mg a day is much nicer!
