I have some general questions about ADD Coaches, especially for adults, and this seemed as good a place as any to ask.
What does a coach for an adult with AD(H)D do?
Do they actually help?
How do you find one in your area?
What do they cost to use?
Will insurance ever pay for them?
In general terms, for how long do you need one?
I think that about covers it...did I forget anything?
Can anyone help with some answers??? Thanks! Peace.
Thanks for the info and the reply!
I just might not need it after all...we shall see...Peace.
An ADD Coach help a person with ADD understand how ADD affects him/her. An ADD Coach also help a person with ADD focus on his/her strengths and talens. ADD Coaches also help clients find ADD Friendly ways of doing things. Those are just a few things ADD Coach do.
In a lot of cases ADD Coaches do help.
Most ADD Coaches work over the phone so they don't need to be local.
The cost of ADD Coaching services usually range between 0 and 0 per month. I think the average is about 0.
Unless ADD Coaching is part of a regular therapy session then no Insurances do not cover ADD Coaching.
It's hard to say how long each invidual person works with a coach. Each person has unique cirumstances.
