Thanks for the info but I took the last paragraph post personal. I am in no way tring to "Convince my Doc". I CAN'T focus, I CAN'T pay attention, I CAN'T find motivation to do the things I need to do. When I was in 1st grade my teacher told my mother I wouldn't listen or pay attention. The doc wanted to give me ritalin but my Mom refused because I was so young. Why would I want to get my hands on something I've NEVER tried? I was simpling asking a question about the effects. So what if it makes you feel good about yourself, thats what I want. I want to feel good about my grades, feel good about my work. You dont know me so why even say something like that? Why would I come to a ADHD board if I didn't have it?? If I was seeking to GET HIGH, beleive me there's A LOT stronger things out there. That just really hit me the wrong way, I hate being labeled a "Drug Seeker" just because I want a med that will help me feel good and live a better life.

I'm unmotivated in the morning. I slack at work and just scatter brained. My question is, I have no insurance so how much will the prescription be? Lets say 10mg #60 count? How much will that be for generic? Also, will I be able to sleep at night while on this med?? THank You all in advance!
P.S. I really do need this med but have any users felt europhia(since of well-being) while on this med? Some say ya others say no? Any thought on this?

I apologize for offending you when you are obviously an ADHDer seeking help. If you had been the type of person I was concerned about, I do believe you would not have posted again and would have just sought out another site.
We have kids who come on this board and post some odd things and I was concerned that one of them decided to make use of this board to get info about the meds. Your question just made me nervous. Ritalin and other ADHD meds are very popular street drugs and I wanted to make sure we didn't feed them anything which would help them fool a dr or get the meds if they didn't need them.
Now that that's over, welcome! This is a great place to come for support and information. You will find that we are friendly here and believe it or not, I am too.

I feel a sense of Euphoria with my Adderall every ounce and a while. I know the feeling of it, bc about 7-8 years ago I took Ecstacy atleast twice a week. Nontheless, it really isn't a drug to be wreckened with, I have ADHD as well as agoraphobia, and I guess when I feel the Euphoria, it is bc I am taking the Adderall and then taking Klonopin (just like xanax).
Has anyone ever heard of seretonin syndrome? The pharmacist last night told me that taking Lexapro with Adderall will cause this.
