ADD=Attention Defeseit(spl?) Disorder

ADHD= Attention Defeceit(spl?) Hyper Disorder

Is that the difference?

Yes,

ADD = Attention Deficit Disorder

ADHD = Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder

Really, "ADD" doesn't exist.  In the DSM IV, it's actually Attention Deficity/Hyperactivity Disorder - predominantly inattentive type.

ADD is predominantly inattentive but there is also ADD-combined which is primarily inattentive but also includes impulsive and/or defiant tendancies. It can also include a degree of hyperactivity but not enough to be considered ADHD.

Its much easier to just say its either ADHD or ADD+ whatever. People who are familiar with the different types know precisely what you mean then. When you say AD/HD, too many people automatically assume your child's primary symptom is hyperactivity.

You'll get familiar with it after you've been here for a while.
