AHA!!!! | ADHD Information

My doc prescribed Ritalin LA yesterday, I took it this morning, and I feel like I'm awake after a looooooong sleep!

This is my first reaction....OMG I WANT TO LIVE!!!!!

I suppose that there may be adjustments, or it may wear off or something else might be better....but jeepers creepers!

I had to share......

 Great to Hear some GOOD news!!!Congratulations!  Perhaps I will drum up the courage someday soon to try meds.  I'm so happy for you.

Wonderful!!! Hey - you're in the driver's seat - just like me :)

Now just keep with your MD - and don't let anyone in your network slack off - including you.  Make sure you monitor how you're doing - because if you begin to slip it's sneaky and subtle - I almost didn't notice with dexedrine.  If you catch each time the meds start to slide off in effectiveness you can shout for your MD and have it adjusted - amount at first. 

I'm SO glad you're finding the fog clearing.  Nice - ain't it!! Just wait until other people actually start to compliment you on the change!  Wierd but warm and fuzzy too.

 

     I've been waiting for tewnty (maybe 30)years for the type of feeling you seem to have right now, and did drugs (illegal?) to try to find it . Still missing three years of my childhood after a fever(strep throat) and still with a veil over my head. My appointment with a doctor is tomorrow and I realised I'ts THAT IMPORTANT to find the courage to not worry about a label.  I'm hoping to be able to retrieve my medical documents ,both medical and psychological from my Dr. and go over them to really find out why I had to go to summer school after 2nd grade. I'd like to find out why I still for the life of me i can't remember doing anything ,or remembering anyones faces for third and fourth grades.

Hoping to be where you are now soon, and just keep in touch with us here in the zone.
