15mg. Adderall XR to start-1x or 2x a day | ADHD Information

Thx so much, Johnnyboi!  My Psychiatrist-to-be said only one a day, as well.  Will do!I would start once a day to be on the safe side.  The reason I say so is because I started with the instant release tablets, and the first night I was unable to sleep.  A few months later I stumbled upon the XR, and gave it a try.  Honestly, I disliked it for three reasons, didn't feel they were as effective as the instant release, and they kept me from sleeping.  They also made me anxious, it was as if someone was slowly pressuring me by the min more and more.  By the way, the instant release I was on was 20mg, and the same dosage when I tried the XR.  However, I have a friend that takes the XR 25mg and loves it.  I just hated the fact that XR made me feel like I was in slow motion.

Help--I pretty much wrote the scrip myself & GP just went by my say-so.  So, now that I've gotten what I wished for, what do i do with it?  Once or twice daily--better to start low, so I don't develop a tolerance, yes?  (Adderall XR 15 mg gel-caps)
