Full MOON & ADHD | ADHD Information

I wanna be a groupie!

Hi, Everybody,

This question just popped into my head!

Do you suffer from any unusual effects when the moon is full? Boy, I do!!! It seems like the adhd symptoms are much worse during this time, like being more hyper, or really sad about where I'm at in my life, etc. And I am not a moon watcher or anything like that. But I notice very unusual things anyway and it never fails when I'm bouncing all over the place I will walk outside and look up and there is that big white glowing orb in front of me. And I'm like, yeah, that's why I feel nuts. So I was just wondering if anyone else here has noticed the same effect.

Nope, can't say I've noticed anything different, (apart from the usual stuff, you know, claws and fangs and fur...)

ladyhope - I have also noticed that - if things are haywire in the house and I go outside for a smoke and look up - I think - AH! Full Moon! makes sense! LOLI've alway been able to tell when the full moon is upon us, even when it's cloudy. Unfortunately, it's also the worst time for crime and suicides. We're 75% water/liquid, like the oceans, so why shouldn't we be affected by the Moon? The only difference with us, is we're uniquely

the rest of the month, too!

Nope, ya aren't. I am at least in the top 3. ;)

As for the full moon, it does affect me, but in a positive way. Seems my depression eases and I get a bit more energy. :)

PLEASE take what I'm about to say in earnest - I'm not trying to be licenteous or inappropriate. One of my "hunting"/distraction symptoms over the years has been sexual impulsivity during times of the full moon (especially in summer months). Seriously, I'm not some sex-crazed werewolf, but I would laugh to myself when I began to recognize that sexual urge to wander during the full moon. It's honestly been a real source of frustration, and I never realized it was ADHD related until just recently. This self-understanding has helped immensely in dealing with these seemingly unacceptable feelings. However, I justed started Adderall XR, so we'll see what the next full moon brings...Adderall: the anti-Viagra

Hello... I know that the full moon definitely has an effect on females.. I know this sounds like an old wive's tale and it probably is but, I can definitely notice it and I know my father of 3 girls notices it!!!I get really moody and sad on the full moon.
