I posted about a week ago about the effects of Matcha Green Tea on my inattention, but people did not respond that they had even tried it. I am just curious if I'm the only person who feels focused after drinking a smoothie with this type of green tea in it?

If this affects people the way it affects me, this could be an amazing alternative to drugs! They sell it in Jamba Juice as a Green Tea Matcha smoothie, but I order the matcha powder online and mix shakes every morning before going to work.

Let me say I have been taking it for one week and my boss has even commented on the difference in my performance. Will someone else at least try a smoothie and see if it helps them too? It can't hurt! Aside from this, it's supposed to have 70x the antioxidants as orange juice.

I am so glad someone else has experienced the effects besides myself. I was beginning to think no one else would try this!  I have never heard of yerba mate... what is that? Not sure I need anything else, but if it helps with attnetion, it couldn't hurt. I have never tried Sencha, but I just ordered some online (powdered form) with matcha to compare and contrast the results.

Yes ritalin made me VERY jittery, same with adderal, and straterra made me want to crawl out of my skin. I remember the first time I took adderal, I organized my room and planted the entire garden in an hour and a half! lol.. then a week later I had my first panic attack.

I have always had problems sleeping, so I am used to taking melatonin every night.

Hi,
well, I haven't tried the powder, but I've tried sencha
green tea in leaf form with yerba mate and that
combo seems to work really well for me. I usually
make it pretty strong, and heavy on the yerba mate
side.
The problem for me is that the stimulant in tea keeps
me awake more than any other type - maybe ritalin is
nearly as bad for that, but in a different, more jittery
way.
I knew a guy who was biking across New Brunswick
who had a green tea extract he used - add a drop to
a cup of hot water and: TEA! - and found he had great
results while cycling.im gunna try it riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight freeeeeeeeeeeeeekin now coooos im out of conecerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr rrrrrtaI thought that the topic did get responses. The one I recall was "Green tea has a dramatic effect at first, but you develop a tolerance to it very quickly. It may be useful intermittently tho".

Sorry, dont recall who said that but I'm pretty sure it was on this board not so long ago.
